RiverBand - Orthopaedic Slip-On Barefoot Shoes

Days are easier when your footwear is simple to pull on and ready for repeated wet and dry transitions. These orthopaedic barefoot shoes use a breathable mesh upper, low-profile rubber outsole, and wide stretch band across the instep for a secure-feeling slip-on fit. The flexible construction supports natural movement without claiming a technical zero-drop specification. Wear it for walks, beach outings, wading, or casual sport activities where fast drainage and easy on-off matter. It is not a technical climbing shoe, and its tread does not guarantee grip on every wet or uneven surface.

RiverBand FAQs

What activities are RiverBand shoes designed for?

They are intended for beaches, wading, fishing, casual river walks, and recreational waterside use. They are not technical climbing shoes.

How does the slip-on closure work?

A wide stretch band crosses the instep to hold the upper in place without standard laces.

Do RiverBand shoes have a barefoot-style feel?

The flexible low-profile construction supports natural movement. No exact drop or sole-thickness measurement was supplied.

Are RiverBand shoes waterproof?

No. The mesh construction is designed for water exposure, drainage, and faster drying rather than keeping water out.

Do the outsoles guarantee grip on wet surfaces?

No footwear can guarantee traction on every wet, algae-covered, loose, or uneven surface. Move carefully and assess conditions.

Can I wear socks with RiverBand?

Yes. Wear them barefoot or with thin quick-drying socks based on comfort and activity.

How should I choose a size?

Start with your standard AU size or usual EU size and use the conversion chart as a guide. The available sizes run from EU 35 to 46 (AU Women's 4.5 – 14.5 / AU Men's 3 – 13).
